Living With A Gambling Addict
I was reading several posts on another forum which is for people who are extreme gambing addicts. There were some scary posts about people playing non stop for days, people who just cannot stop even though they are in severe debt, broken relations, or in many cases suicidal. Some of the posters were very young and already lost six figures. Many could not go a single day without gambling and a lot of them admitted to resorting to stealing and cheating and borrowing from friends, family or their work for their habit.
I was wondering that as frequently as I see the people on here playing slots or gambling in general, are any of you in danger of any of the above. What is it that seperates people on here from the gambling addicts. Is it that we have better self control, better luck, more money, or are some of us on here in denial?
